Butterfly Weddings - Science Snoops, Case of the Missing Monarch

The featured software is directed toward students in grades six through eight, including over seventy interactive live-action video clips of scientists at work. The software urges children to record their findings in a progress journal as a way of achieving knowledge and understanding. Taking you through the discovery and exploration of the Monarch butterfly, Science Snoops gives you insight on:

the ability to identify questions that can be answered through scientific investigations
design and conduct a scientific investigation
use appropriate tools and techniques to gather, analyze, and interpret data
develop descriptions, explanations, predictions, and models using evidence
